Software Developer

Salisbury, Wiltshire

up to £45,000 base + bonus

Our client is an innovate finance technology company, who operating from offices in the UK and US, deliver leading solutions to the capital markets / investment banking within the finance sector. We have been instructed to assist in the recruitment of Software Developers to join their growing development team in Wiltshire.

This role covers all aspects of the development process - from initial prototyping, web GUI development, server-side development, testing and all the way up to deployment.

This position may suit a recent graduate or an individual looking for their second role or an experienced professional with good software engineering / development / coding expertise looking to move into banking sector IT. We view this as an excellent opportunity.

Requirements / Skills / Environment

-Ideally Russel Group University Degree (in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Engineering discipline)

-Development experience on enterprise level software systems

-Python (Pypi, Pip)

-Java, JavaScript, CSS, Distributed Processing Patterns

-RabbitMQ or similar MQ Messaging Protocol

-SQL and Data Modelling

-Development Frameworks (Bootstrap, SQLAlchemy, Flask, Backbone)

-Algorithm Development / Implementation

-Agile Development Model

-Cloud / Docker Deployment (Docker Containers, Amazon Web Services / AWS, ECS
