Data Developer /SQL Developer - Online Gaming - London - Permanent - up to £60,000 + benefits

You would join a highly Agile team who use cutting edge tech to push the mould and break boundaries in the online gaming world. You will be reporting to a senior data architect who will be able to give you hints and tips to develop your already diverse skill set.

My client puts the real emphasis on developing and training staff, this is very much the culture. Don't think that this means you will come at a junior level, on contrary your ideas toward this greenfield project can be voiced and they will be heard. My client is growing and undergoing a major tech revamp with a huge migration into modern cloud services, with this comes the opportunity to try new things and develop innovative ideas - its an exciting time to join and get stuck in.

Day to day…

* Work as part of an Agile team

* Maintain onsite RDBMS systems

* Create robust ETL services to transport vast amounts of data

* Maintain and build Continuous Integration pipelines

Required Experience…

* Demonstrable experience on MS SQL Server modelling and indexing strategies

* Ability to write complex queries and identify bottlenecks

* Experience in working large datasets and in highly transactional environments

* Understanding of one or more ETL tools and the ability to create a simple ETL process

Tech Stack…

* Cloud data services; Azure, Data lake, Stream Analytics, Data Factory

* NoSQL

* C#.Net, visual studio

* Git, VSTS

* Continuous integration/deployment

* Tableau Server, PowerBI
