Information Security Engineer

An exciting career opportunity has arisen for an Information Security Engineer to join this rapidly expanding organisation within the supply-chain arena at an exciting time of growth, offering huge career opportunity based in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire.

As the Information Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the organisations Security systems from design through to ongoing maintenance whilst ensuring the organisation understands the threats it will face and work closely with senior management to help create strategies to protect both the groups networks and its information.

Key skills required for the Information Security Engineer:

* Excellent understanding of industry standards and security best practices

* Understanding of common Web Application/Web Service vulnerabilities

* Ideally, experience within Cloud Security

* Strong understanding of networking principles (Routing fundamentals, TCP/IP)

* Experience with Log Analysis and Vulnerability Scanning

* Understanding of host operating systems such as Microsoft Windows and Linux

* Ability to communicate technical Security concepts clearly

Location: Hertfordshire (Broxbourne) / Greater London border

Salary: £50K - £65K + benefits (depending on experience)
