To support our next stage of growth we are looking to expand our technical team.

The Role

As part of our technical team you will play a vital part in helping us and our customers achieve ambitious development projects to help their business grow. You will be client facing and will work within a delivery team, alongside Designers, UX experts, Testers, Business Analysts and Project Managers to deliver a great end product.

The Candidate

You will be able to demonstrate:

Previous commercial development experience.

Excellent knowledge in frontend web technologies (HTML5, SCSS and JavaScript).

Experience working with version control systems such as Git or SVN.

Experience using task running software such as Gulp or Grunt.

Experience of SEO and Accessibility best practice.

An understanding of responsive frameworks and modern CSS techniques such as Flexbox, BEM, CSS Modules or SMACSS or experience with Bootstrap 4 / Foundation 6 would be beneficial.

Experience with JavaScript Frameworks such as AngularJS or React would be desirable.

Experience with XML and XSLT would be desirable.

Experience writing and running manual unit tests would be desirable.

An eye for detail when realising UX into working web pages and web applications.

Passion for technology and the role it can play in making our lives easier.

Everyday personal qualities of integrity, collaboration and be intrinsically customer centric in your decision making.

The Responsibilities

Work as a member of the Development Team and will help to deliver our customers projects.

Take user stories and UX and implement these within a working project.

Peer review your team mates code and suggest amendments to improve quality and standards compliance.

Contribute to internal coding standards.

Document functional and none functional changes.

Work with our manual test team to ensure sufficient manual testing has been completed.
