Location: PrestonMy client is a small agency of 15 people with some exciting clients and a friendly atmosphere. They've been established for ten years and are steadily growing the team. They have won a number of industry related awards.They are looking for a talented PHP developer that likes to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and takes pride in their code and the user experience. They are looking for someone who is eager to contribute to the whole business, and enjoys working across a wide range of clients projects, frameworks and technologies.They offer a negotiable salary - great team environment - challenging projects - cool office - inclusive and positive ethos and culture - career prospectsRequired skills: '€¢HTML, CSS (specifically SCSS), SVG, and JavaScript (vanilla, jQuery, JSON, AJAX)'€¢Git version control'€¢PHP experience and basic OOP'€¢API integrations and writing CMS plugins'€¢JavaScript patterns'€¢Gulp knowledge'€¢Linux sysadmin experience is a bonus (LAMP and LEMP stacks)'€¢Relevant experience in a similar fast-paced agency environment is a bonus'€¢Experience with MVC Frameworks is a bonus You will be responsible for: '€¢Hands on back end coding for Website and app development'€¢Solution design involving other agency disciplines including UX & creative designers'€¢Website and feature development alongside front end developers'€¢Working with frontend developers to plan the code architecture'€¢Breakdown and estimation of tasks in an agile way'€¢Working with QA and testing teams'€¢Be part of their friendly, laid-back, but driven business culture'€¢Be willing to communicate directly with clients face to face, by phone or by email My client is looking to pay up to £45,000 for the ideal candidate and is hoping to interview this week from Friday 11th May onwards.
