Solution Architect - City of London

My client is currently seeking an Solutions Architect. They are very interested in applicants from a broad range of relevant backgrounds such as Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture and Enterprise Architecture.

The Solution Architect will be responsible for design, development and planning of solutions and services for consumption within the global IT environment. You will be responsible for translation of the functional requirements in to architecture and design artefacts. Post design they will assume an assurance role within the governance of project and programme delivery.

Skills required;

* Hands on experience with designing within a hybrid environment

* Hands on experience working with Enterprise Architecture tooling and maintaining the data within the repository

* Experience of working within TOGAF framework and able to apply this in practice

* Experience working with modern API management services and Microservices architecture

* Direct and hands on experience with the selection, design and implementation of outsourced technology software as a service.

* Technical background preferred with a wide range of experience across many areas. Primarily the Microsoft Stack but experience of non-Microsoft and open source can be advantageous.

* Industry standard certification preferred

The Role

The role holder will be seen as a clear lead for all technical matters relating to applications and the technology portfolio, providing subject matter expertise to design Authorities and the Architecture review board.
