IT Systems Manager - Infrastructure Services

Windows Servers 2008, 2012 & 2016, Windows Desktop 7 & 10, MS Exchange, MS Office 365, Active Directory, Hyper-V, SAN's and Systems Backup Technology, Cisco Networks & Cisco Meraki, vLAN's, VPN's & Network Security, 3rd Party Vendor Management, EPOS, Cloud Systems MS Azure and//or AWS, 3CX Telephony

*£40,000 to £45,000* + Full Benefits Package

*Salaried to work 5 Days out of 7 (which may include some weekends and some bank holidays)

This revered Hotel, Hospitality, Leisure, Spa and Fitness Group are seeking an experienced IT all-rounder to take ownership of their IT Systems and IT Infrastructure based in the Worcestershire Cotswolds.

This enticing and enviable opportunity offers the successful applicant 360 degree ownership of all in-house IT systems, IT infrastructure, IT Networks, Internet, Multimedia, Telephony and AV Technology.

With a flexible working approach you will be the "Hands-on / Hands-off" in-house IT presence who will also be required to manage a 3rd Party IT Services vendor that will support your IT Systems on a 24/7 basis including all external and remote connections and communications.

This role will require energy and enthusiasm, a consultative DNA, Project Management skills and an eye for new and leading edge technology as you will be required to make recommendations and push IT Systems forward for the next 3 to 5 years.

Technical Skills and Technical Expertise required:

* IT Infrastructure / Microsoft Genealogy

* Windows Servers 2008, 2012 & 2016

* Windows Desktop 7 & 10

* MS Exchange, MS Office 365, Active Directory

* Virtualisation - Hyper-V, VMware

* vLAN's, VPN's & Network Security

* Must be technically competent to support PC's, Laptops & iPad's

* SAN's and Systems Backup Technology

* IT 3rd Party / outsourced IT support vendor management

* EPOS, and Payment systems

* Experience working with 3CX Telephony

* Cisco Networks & Cisco Meraki

* Technically competent to support Internet, AV, in-house Cinema needs & AV - Audio Visual Systems

Strategic:

You will assist with implementations for the overall IT strategy and assist in the definition for internal technology infrastructure in respect of network and security technologies. Offer input and design for technical infrastructure solutions that meet service delivery needs and provision for the future needs of the business, based on IT Strategy.

Operational:

You will be required to provide first and last line support for all in-house systems and act as an escalation point, for the managed service, for problems pertaining to the infrastructure technology.

* Must be able to work under pressure and trouble shoot problems quickly

* Ideally some knowledge of Hospitality Systems and Sage

* Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment

* Project Management experience

Desirable Qualifications will include: MCSE, MCDT, MCP's, CCNA, Telephony etc
