New and exciting opportunity for a Senior Technology / IT Programme Manager for a Fleet & Rolling Stock development programme for a transport company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a significant programme of design and development within the transport company and the rail franchise sector under the direction of the Projects & Transition and the Operations Director.

You will manage large scale and complicated multi-disciplinary detailed design for Electrification and Diesel design and delivery projects from inception through to completion, delivering work that meets project requirements and company / customer satisfaction.

Specification:

* Project focused knowledge within the rail & transport industry

* Understanding of the Bid/Mobilisation and transition of a TOC

* Sound understanding and experience in the application and operation of rolling stock fleet

* Technically astute in design and requirements from train to track

* Specific experience in at least one of the Rail Sectors

* Demonstrable successful delivery of a design, with emphasis on multi-disciplinary and multi interface projects

* A can do attitude and ability to be flexible on travel, hours and location.
