C# .NET SQL WebAPI Fullstack Developer eTrading - Investment Bank

Experienced Fullstack Server Side .NET WebAPI developer is required with Strong development skills and experience with .Net, Oracle SQL, WebAPI + front end skills including Typescript and Angular. Strong core C# including WebAPI, load balancing and cache synchronisation, IIS, windows server. Expert knowledge in one or more of the following ORMs: Dapper (ideally) nHibernate, Entity Framework.. Must have project development experience (rather than BAU), ideally working on a global order management system, or trade capture, or Brokerage systems. ie workflow experience. The role works directly for the business - traders, business sponsors etc.

About 10 years software development experience recently in an investment bank environment or equivalent.

Strong interest in continuous improvement and all aspects of software development and delivery. Agile practitioner using Scrum. Strong understanding of test driven development and continuous integration practices (Team City experience beneficial). Good understanding of relational databases with appropriate SQL knowledge Desire to learn quickly and ability to adapt to a fast changing environment. Strong problem solving skills. Confident numeracy. Solid academic background in engineering, sciences or economics.

Role:

Participate in an agile based software development life cycle primarily in development, code review and testing but to include some technical analysis and documentation.

Work closely with the other developers in determining and following best development and architecture practice.

Propose and provide feedback from experience/knowledge on architecture, design, technology choices and technology direction of the platform.

Fully participate in requirement and design meetings for new functionality

Quickly assist with L3 support issues as required and being able to debug and resolve issues from existing codebase

Refactoring of existing code base in preparation for system reengineering
