Cisco Network Engineer (CCIE Cisco Routing & Switching Data Centre high level design Financial Services) NEW CONTRACT JOB

This global banking giant has an opportunity available for a Senior Cisco Network Engineer located in London. This position will be focused on Cisco Routing & switching for design and network solutions on Enterprise Networks for a Global Financial Services Client, based in Canary Wharf, London.
Responsibilities:
* This position is part of the Enterprise Network Services Project Engineering team.
* Cisco Network Engineer responsibilities will include network design and solution development based on engineering standards.
* Cisco Network Engineer will be part of a team that will design and develop enterprise network solution using Switching, Routing, Wireless, and Wide Area Network systems
* Design and implement network connectivity solutions based on business requirements.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
* CCIE certified required
* Must have experience in Cisco Routing & Switching in a Data Centre environment - experience in high and low level design of large enterprise networks
* Cisco Network Engineer will have 8-10 years' experience with a large enterprise, technology vendor, or systems integrator, designing, and implementing data network solutions and possess strong analytical/organizational skills.
* You will have in-depth knowledge of Cisco Switched Layers 2 & 3 and Cisco Routers 3925E, 2951, 1921, ASR1K, CRS-1/4/8 Use of BGP for Routing in Large-Scale Data Centers
* Apply and enforce the firm's security best practices across all connectivity solutions.
* Familiar with change request process at large enterprises and/or Financials Services.
* Support network Moves/Adds/Changes to provision new services.
* Provide Level-3 support for network related issues.
* Willing to provide support during maintenance windows and work flexible hours.
* Design, configure, troubleshoot campus/branch, datacenter, WAN environment.
* Ability to produce accurate technical documents to include network diagrams, implementation plans, migration plans, etc.
* Review existing Firewall rules usages and patterns.
* Experience performing network data captures and analysis with tools such as Wireshark, Corvil, etc.
* Lead and participate in group projects with global as well as regional team members.
The role requires full Security Clearance to work on Site for a Financial Services Client, please be prepared to go through a full clearance which takes approx. 3-4 weeks.
