Spring Technology is currently looking for a Business Continuity Manager to take on a 3 month contract role in Birmingham with one of our growing clients. If you are confident that you can set up Business Continuity frameworks to meet regulatory and business requirements, using existing processes as a base to continually build a service improvement strategy, then this would be an excellent role for you.

This will be a 3 month contract initially and our client is looking to pay around £400 per day for this vacancy.

Our client is a business with ambitious growth plans and are heavily reliant on IT to be part of these plans. If you are a specialist with knowledge in managing business continuity planning and disaster recovery, this is an excellent opportunity to take control of the BC / DR processes within a financial services business that are on the rise. Our client need a consultant to provide expert knowledge into business and IT continuity planning processes to ensure that systems can be available within tight timescales and direction in given in the event of failures through documentation. You will be able to organise the continuity steering committee, plan and then deploy the framework for business and IT continuity planning against regulatory and business requirements.

Skills needed:

*Strong background in Business and IT Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery, ideally within financial services

*Knowledge of relevant ISO standards and regulations in relation to BC / ITC

*Able to contribute to a continual service improvement strategy

*Can take a lead on steering meetings, gathering business requirements for BC planning

*Excellent communication and documentation skills
