Project Manager Our highly respected and successful client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team based in Newcastle, on a permanent basis. The Project Manager will be tasked with leading, motivating and directing agile multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver projects to meet critical time, cost and quality metrics. These projects will be a variety of software development, hardware & infrastructure implementations as well as process improvement initiatives. Project Manager - Key Skills:

Experience of managing and delivering significant enterprise ICT projects (custom software development, infrastructure/services and process improvements) through the full lifecycle in a rigorous quality regime'€¢

Experience of leading, supporting and motivating multi-disciplinary project teams in an agile environment'€¢

Experience of supporting business areas, providing challenge and guidance'€¢

Delivering successful against demanding SLAs and KPIs'€¢

Experience of significant resilient web deployed transactional platforms'€¢

Proven track record of delivery'€¢

Sound knowledge of project methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)'€¢

Collaborative team worker demonstrating loyalty to the organisation and the project team'€¢

Willing to travel and be flexible with working hours where business demands require it'€¢

Constructively challenging to improve existing practices'€¢

Strong customer service ethos, attitude and outlook to drive exceptional service for our customers

 Project Manager - Responsibilities:

To lead the planning and implementation of ICT projects to support NSML strategic objectives and in support of clients' projects and changes'€¢

Planning and organisation of a range of complex activities, resources and services assigned to/required for a project, including day to day'€¢

resource management for project resources engaged on project tasks, ownership of significant budgets, risk management and project deliverables and products'€¢

Ensure all projects are managed in line with their project methodologies and development lifecycles'€¢

Identify/ develop and implement changes to their project management methodologies and development lifecycles to improve the efficiency, agility and risk mitigation of these'€¢

To produce and maintain appropriate project documentation as set out in the project methodologies and development lifecycles, including fully costed business cases'€¢

To track and communicate project and change progress and status'€¢

To pro-actively facilitate the resolution of project issues'€¢

To collaboratively control project and change scope
