Are you an extremely capable ASIC Design Engineer ?

Do you enjoy implementing algorithms and functional blocks for ASIC synthesis ?

Do you want to work on highly challenging, IP creating projects that are combining state-of-the-art video processing and machine learning technologies ?

Would you be happy designing and developing ASIC's and hardware and trading ideas alongside some of the best Engineers in the image processing and computer vision ecosystem ?

If so, this position, implementing image / video processing algorithms in hardware, is THE position for you.

It is a fantastic opportunity to join a small but incredibly experienced, early stage technology company, who already have real product, which is selling and whose top people are world-renown technology leaders in image processing and computer vision, being responsible for inventing the image processing IP that is resident in billions of devices worldwide.

To be part of this amazing company and to contribute meaningfully to image processing technology and IP that will change the way we look at images, you will need hands-on hardware design, verification and synthesis experience with real development experience using some (ideally all) of -

RTL design using VHDL or Verilog

Verification - UVM / System Verilog

Synthesis - Synopsys, Cadence etc.

Simulation - nc-sim, Modelsim, Questa, VCS etc.

ASIC design - Vivado, ISE, Quartus etc.

Practical experience with block design, algorithm implementation, block-level verification, timing closure, size and speed optimization required

Knowledge of memory subsystems, AXI and system integration would be helpful.

Software development - Python, C / C++

Any experience with -

video processing on FPGA / SoC

Firmware / microcode development

would be a definite advantage.

You would be working in the heart of Cambridge, with a bunch of capable engineers inventing, creating, designing, developing and patenting some of the most exciting image and video processing IP imaginable.

You would get an excellent salary, including share options and relocation and Visa's can be sponsored for particularly relevant experience.
