Head of Purchase to Pay (P2P)

Experis are recruiting on behalf of our Client a leading FTSE organisation who are looking to bring on board an experienced P2P professional to develop, drive forward and lead the P2P elements of a SAP ERP solution within a transformational Shared Services environment.

Some key responsibilities within this role are as follows -

* To deliver an efficient and effective cross functional P2P service to the users of the Shared Service Centre with a demonstrable process of continuous improvement

* Manage any staff allocated in support of P2P processing in the SSC

* To act as the Subject Matter Expert in relation to all P2P activities

* To seek to expand and improve SSC P2P services within the organisation

* Embed all required P2P responsibilities within an evolving operating model and associated control framework

* Agree P2P solutions, processes, policies and procedures in support of an SSC operating model incorporating a continuous improvement capability

* Input to and support of a company-wide robust method of financial management of the SSC. Manager the P2P services in line with agreed budget / forecast submissions and ensure committed cost savings are delivered

* Manage resourcing and training of SSC P2P team and ensure key business requirements are met

* Provide stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organisation including the preparation and delivery of regular internal customer presentations as well as the facilitation of employee sessions specific to P2P

The successful candidate will display the following skills and experience -

* Experienced P2P professional with cross functional experience for a large and varied customer base

* Must be able to evidence working in a change orientated environment

* Prior experience of leading and managing large teams 50+

* Proven experience of process integration and P2P operating model implementation with SAP

* Demonstrable hands on knowledge of Ariba

* Able to manage and mitigate risks, constraints, issues and assumptions

* Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills

* Comfortable working in a senior leadership role within a transformation programme environment
