Senior Business Analyst (Utilities industry), W. Midlands

A Senior Business Analyst (Utilities Industry) is required to join a growing Utility in the West Midlands on a permanent basis. The Senior Business Analyst (Utilities Industry) will have 5 years' professional experience working as a Business Analyst and will need to demonstrate evidence of working in a Business Change team and working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to improve operational processes, mapping and re-engineering processes and scoping requirements for a variety of Business Change and regulatory projects.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
* Must have 5+ years' experience working professionally as a Business Analyst
* Strong knowledge of Agile Methodology (and other methodologies)
* Expertise in one or more of the following areas SMART metering, business processes (operations and acquisitions), CRM solutions, energy retail regulatory requirements.
* Must have some experience working in the UK Energy Industry
* Must have clear evidence of working on business change projects with experience of requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, process mapping and documentation
* Exceptional communication skills are essential for the role
DESIRABLE SKILLS
* Experience of the Energy or Utilities sector would be massively advantageous
* Experience with JIRA/ Confluence or similar tools to track and manage the product status.
* Professional diplomas or certifications in Business Analysis (ISEB etc.)
* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and everchanging environment
Day to day role:
The successful Senior Business Analyst (Utilities Industry) will join a fast-paced Business Change team and will be working on a variety of Business Change projects including Regulatory Projects, Process Optimisation projects, Customer Journey projects and much more. The Senior Business Analyst (Utilities Industry) will work with a variety of stakeholders to elicit requirements, document requirements and processes and look to solve various problems in an exciting and dynamic industry. Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management skills are of the upmost importance in the role.
