WHAT TO EXPECT

Connected diagnostics systems span both on and off-car environments, marrying traditional vehicle environments with offboard IT systems, analytics and big data applications. Software over the Air update and Remote Diagnostics are the first applications in the connected diagnostics roadmap, a road leading to prognostics, self-healing vehicles and beyond!

As Connected Diagnostics System Architect you'll be responsible for defining and delivering connected diagnostics systems in response to the needs of our internal and external customers. Working from a defined user experience and business requirements, you'll lead the creation of system designs to fulfil the business needs. You'll be analysing new technologies, balancing tradeoffs, identifying constraints, and interacting with business stakeholders including security, safety and quality teams to ensure a robust solution.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

With your experience in applying Systems Engineering and solving complex technical issues using a structured approach, you'll liaise with architecture teams to maintain alignment with the specified programmes.

Experience in automotive networking and diagnostic standards as well as embedded software development and integration experience is required.
