Accenture works with a wide group of telecommunication companies on various transformation and systems integration projects. On many of these engagements, Accenture works alongside the client technology and business stakeholders (up to board level) and helps clients select and shape the right solutions that span across IT and Network landscape, thereby enabling them to pursue new business opportunities and optimise existing offerings

We are looking for a telecommunications architect with experience creating and delivering end-to-end solutions across telecommunications industry. The focus is primarily on IT & Network Solutions, including but not limited to SD WAN, QoE, customer diagnostics, NFV/SDN, that make up underlying operating environment in support of business processes.

As a Solution Architect in our Technology Advisory Practice

you’ll work within consulting engagement teams to deliver architecture solutions used by technology delivery and implementation teams. Core responsibilities:

-Work with client teams to understand high level objectives, priorities and business requirements

-Translate the high level requirements and chosen software into an architectural solution, signed off by the project sponsors

-Work with Accenture implementation teams to ensure the overall solution is compliant with the architecture blueprint

-Ability to assess multiple Change Requests raised by the client and their impact on the architecture

-Support estimation, planning and scoping for sold projects and new business demand

-Build and maintain key client relationships

-Build architecture skills of junior resources to grow internal knowledge capital

Required Capabilities:

-An understanding of the telecommunications industry, its core processes, business and operating models

-Experience working within IT projects in the telecommunications industry, especially with -Core and Transport Network technologies and architectures

-Architecture and/or design experience with telecommunications IT Network systems including experience in one or more of Network Virtualization, SDN and NFV transformations

-A professional, constructive and reliable approach to work; a team-player who is equally comfortable in small to large teams, working closely day to day with our clients on site

-Strong presentation and communication skills; able to present complex ideas and solutions to audiences of varying levels

-A desire to deliver to a high standard in a suitable timeframe.

The following skills are preferable, but not mandatory:

-Architecture methodologies e.g. TOGAF, eTOM

-Experience managing teams and directing work efforts
