Warwickshire are at an exciting time in the transformation of Social Care. We have recently begun the final stage of the replacement of our core Case Management Systems which have a significant part to play in the future transformation of Social Care. Central to this is the Care Records Team who provides application support and development to front line teams as well as being a key enabler to transformation initiatives across the organisation.

The Role

We are therefore looking for an extremely Customer focused Business Systems Applications Manager to lead the Care Records Team who deliver customer facing system support and development. Key areas of responsibility will be to:

Build relationships across the organisation and act as an advisor to key stakeholders.

Align business goals with applications road maps and priorities.

Acting as a point of contact to facilitate effective communication and mutual understanding between business associates and technical colleagues.

Agree on acceptable SLA’s with the business stakeholders, monitoring and reporting on those service levels, and escalating when service levels are not met.

Manage a small team of application administrators, support analysts and developers to provide support for case recording business application systems.

Develop and embed appropriate support process and governance.

Manage and liaise with external systems providers.

Key Requirements

You will have significant experience of supporting business applications in a customer facing setting, a good understanding of the development life cycle and ITIL. An understanding of Social Care is desirable but not essential.
