Job Title: Underwriting Finance Business Partner Duration: 8 months with the potential to go permanent Rate/Salary: £70,000-110,000 (dependent upon experience) plus bonus Location: London based (2-3 days office/home working)
The Role:
* Produce / review the quarterly reporting presentations and analysis to support the business in: * Understanding the quarterly result * Assessing the drivers of performance and suggest actions where required * Writing commentary on the UK result on a regular basis for submission to the Executive Board and local UK reporting pack * Educating the business to build financial acumen across the business teams to enable stakeholders to interpret the results themselves which will lead to better underwriting decisions in the future * Create the infrastructure for efficient planning and forecasting processes, including building and consolidating templates * Produce plan and forecast exec review packs * Building profit commission models for the planning and reporting process
The Candidate:
* Part-qualified or Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA) * Must have UK Insurance industry experience (ideally Lloyds) * Must have experience working with Underwriters or Underwriting department
