My client are looking for a DV Cleared Policy Support Officer to support a team in policy making.

The successful candidate:

* A self-starting, proactive approach;

* The ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-moving environment;

* Professional, confident and succinct oral and written communication;

* Collaborative, team-working skills and the ability to work well with others, including when under pressure; and

* Experience of working in a government department.

* Work with team to set priorities, create clear plans and manage all work to meet the needs of the customer and the business.

* Keep internal teams, customers and delivery partners fully informed of plans and possibilities

* Ensure that levels of service are maintained - flag up risks or concerns in order to meet customer requirements.

* Be interested and positive about what they and the team are trying to achieve

* Check own and team performance against outcomes, make improvement suggestions or take corrective action when problems are identified.

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 18 weeks.
