Requirement:

1. Identify, develop & publish Data Standards

2. Identify & publish core reference datasets

3. Develop a data model for integration across separate systems

4. Oversee business analysis & requirements gathering

5. Develop a Proof of Concept approach for Linked Data

6. Develop the business case for an Alpha service

We are a National Team providing technical services, advice and guidance to share our data and information in line with legislation. We support the business to deliver their outcomes, and provide Data Sharing Services to the Organisation.

The successful candidate will be expected to manage priorities in a diverse portfolio, centred on identifying and publishing Data Standards and core reference data sets, the development of a data model for integration of data, and coordination of the business case with a view to development of an Alpha Service

Essential skills and experience:

* Demonstrable experience of managing large, complex data projects, with a solid track record of leading complex data delivery

* Ability to manage and work with third party data service providers, external suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely provisioning and implementation of technical data solutions

* Experience of working with data service suppliers to contribute to and assure detailed technical design and commercial offerings

* Ability to cope in a technically complex data transformational environment, and to respond calmly and rationally to changing aspirations within constraints

* Strong planning and organising skills including the ability to manage several data work streams simultaneously

* Proven ability to communicate with key stakeholders at varying levels in both written and verbal communication, including the translation of technical communication to something understandable for a wider audience

* Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering data projects within an Agile/PRINCE 2 environment.

Nice-to-have skills and experience:

* Experience of Public Sector programmes

* PRINCE 2 Practitioner

* Agile delivery methodologies
