Delta Technology and Software Services Ltd provides a Software as a Service solution to consumer product companies to manage the safety and compliance of their products due to tighter regulation, global trading and recent notable recalls in food, toys and consumer goods.
Implementation Analyst based in Camberley, Surrey (with extensive overseas travel) required.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Work directly with customers throughout the implementation / support cycle.
• Provide pre sales support including demonstrating web application to potential customers / existing customer base
• Work with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues
• Produce associated requirements documentation
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records
• Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
• Configure, customize and integrate product software for customers
• Provide knowledge transfer to customer and act as technical interface
• Collaborate with development and project management teams to ensure smooth and reliable operation of the application
• Implementation of the system either on site or remotely
• Facilitate client and project team communication to resolve issues that arise during implementation.
• Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.
• Design and deliver training, both internally and externally to customers, on the alert On Demand™ software system, as well as producing written documentation
• Based on a training needs analysis, develop training courses which meet the needs of clients. This may require significant travel to client sites.
• Provide knowledge transfer and overall product knowledge
• Accomplish implementation tasks and overall project objectives
Requirements:
• Prior experience of deploying web based software solutions in customer environments.
• Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
• Excellent software troubleshooting and application support experience
• A track record of working within a project environment, following robust implementation methodologies, working under pressure and meeting challenging deadlines
• Experience in the design and delivery of IT or software training.
• Outstanding communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to undertake extensive overseas travel (up to 50% of time) sometimes at short notice.
• Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
• Highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
• Ability to communicate technical and business concepts and relate them to Delta Technology & Software’s alert On Demand™ application and user needs
