Premium Credit is the leading insurance premium finance company in the UK and Ireland. As part of efforts to bring our development back in-house, we are now looking for a .NET Developer to join our growing Digital Support Team.

As one of our .NET Developers, you will join a team of five which is focused on delivering projects and developing n-tier components using OO development methodology within a service oriented architecture.

As part of the wider Digital team space which is made up of five in-house teams and one support team, you will assist towards the overall goal of delivering great customer service.

The environment is Agile, which is a new model for this year, and it is hoped that this will bring opportunities to help shape and grow an environment which best suits us and our ways of working.

As the development function is brought in-house, you will be able to get in on the ground floor and be part of the functionality, infrastructure and methodology as it is created. Everyone who comes along later will have to learn about what you have developed, so why wait? Get started today.

On a daily basis, you will:

- Analyse, understand and document business requirements

- Write and review technical specifications

- Write, review and unit test code

- Play a key role in the release of software into the production environment

- Help to mentor Junior Developers

- Work with Architects and Senior Developers to provide solutions for business requirements and long term strategy

- Participate in an on-call rota to support our systems

- A proven track record of transactional and e-business based applications

- A proven track record working on Microsoft .NET based applications in C# and SQL Server

- Experience in working across the full development cycle including design, build implementation and support thereafter

- Experience in using CI tools to implement automated builds and deployments

- Experience in Automated testing tools such as Nunit

Our ideal .NET Developer will also have experience of developing on CMS tools, preferably Sitecore, experience in using TFS for task management, Source Control and CI and experience in working in an application support environment, however none of these are essential.
