What you’ll be doing

You will take part in the full life cycle of an IoT solution, from architecture to integration bringing new ideas to life, working with different clients to help them innovating.

Your responsibility will include:

-Act as a technical SME on enterprise-grade IoT solutions and platforms including hardware and software;

Integrate with existing legacy systems as well as with APIs and micro-services;

-Work with designers, product managers, and other engineers to imagine, build, and launch successful client solution.

-Gather requirements through interactions with clients.

-Establish informed opinions on the role of Wearables and Mobile devices in the Enterprise.

-participating in Agile sprints

Basic qualifications

Your skills and qualifications

-Strong development experience with dynamic languages and platforms like Node.js, Node-Red;

-2+ years in at least one of the following areas:

- Infrastructure

- Technical IT Operations

- Networking

- Cloud computing

- IOT Integration platform or complex system integrations

Experience with REST and SOAP API

Experience with one of the following Arduino, Raspberry pie, Becons

Experience with MQTT, WebSockets, HTTP/2

Ideally experience with RFID, BLE, ZigBee, HomePlug

Familiar with working with mobile hardware components such as BlueTooth, NFC

Good understanding of databases SQL or NoSql

Preferred Skills

-Experience developing collaboratively with Git.

-Basic bash skills (find, grep, cp, mv, less, top, etc.)

-Basic networking (ip vs. MAC, basic OSI, protocols - http, ssh, tcp, sockets, etc.)

-Working experience with analytics engine ( Spark or Splunk) and / or some streaming engine (Kafka, Kinesis)

-Experience with agile development (SCRUM, Kanban, etc).

-Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

-Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills

-Proven ability to create a business plan and execute against it

-Proven ability to motivate, lead, recognize and direct colleagues

-Proven passionate technologist not only in the professional life, but also in the personal life.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree. Major in computer science, data science, engineering, technology, or business a plus.
