We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join the Corporate Security team fortifying the Bank’s cyber defence program in the area of incident response and analysis. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in cybersecurity operations and has had considerable exposure to security engineering concepts. In addition to being up to date on the latest technologies, s/he is a strong team player with exceptional analytical skills, a flair for complex problem-solving and the ability to communicate in a swift and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and analyse unauthorised activity (e.g., misuse, malware, intrusion attempts) on monitored networks; recognize potential, successful and unsuccessful intrusion attempts; provides comprehensive incident documentation and review.

- Embed security engineering into IT infrastructure projects and advise on topics such as security services segmentation and encryption/authentication technologies.

- Lead incident response activities for cybersecurity events across all IT.

- Contribute to the development of advanced cybersecurity analytics.

- Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, advising on security measures to protect the Bank’s infrastructures.

- Ensure effective vulnerability management by contributing to the design of and subsequent compliance with security standards and policies.

- Contribute to the implementation of key critical controls and compliance requirements.

- Lead and / or contribute to technical security projects.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline. Additional certifications such as CISSP, SANS GIAC/GSEC, GPEN, GWAPT, CEH, CISA etc., would be a plus.

- Expert in network and communication technologies with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and application architecture.

- Expert knowledge of cybersecurity incident response activities.

- Good understanding of mobile-related technologies and cloud-based federated access management technologies.

- Demonstrated security engineering skills in application security, encryption and cloud technologies, and secured mobility.

- Familiar with industry-recognized key critical controls (e.g. SANS or equivalent).

- Good understanding of the landscape of security solution providers.

- Strong analytical capabilities and data analysis skills.

- Good communication skills with fluency in English.

- Team player but technically autonomous.

- At least five years’ work experience in cybersecurity operations, including extensive exposure to security engineering-related concepts.

- Credible track record as technical lead and/or project manager.
