A talented Java developer is required to join our innovative, best in class cloud client, working as part of a fully agile scrum team developing new features and upgrades to their flagship product. The successful Java developer is required on a contract basis, and will be working from their modern offices based in central London.

The Java Developer will be working in a highly Agile environment, striving to Continuously Deliver software into the live platform on a daily basis. The Java developer must be interested in working with latest technologies and be able to show examples of their ability to keep their skills relevant and up to date. The developer must have proven commercial experience with Java and Spring based codebase and will have solid contracting history being able to hit the ground running when joining the team.

Java Developer's Required Skills & Experience - Java, Spring, Cloud, API, MicroServices

* Strong knowledge and experience working with Java

* Strong experience with Java Spring / Java Spring MVC Frameworks

* Good knowledge of API development (XML, JSON etc.)

* Knowledge of Cloud based development (AWS, Google Cloud Platform etc.)

* Experience designing and developing highly transactional web applications with high availability.

* Experience working in an Agile environment (TDD, Continuous Integration etc.)

* Passionate about Software Development topics such as DDD, OO Design and other best practices.

* A strong team player with experience working in a collaborative team

Java Developer's Supplementary Skills & Experience - Java, Spring, Cloud, API, MicroServices

* Good Front End knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery)

* Knowledge of Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)

* Knowledge and interest in Big Data.

* A degree in Computer Science or similar
