Role Summary:
A Telecommunications focused Project Management role supporting the installation of circuits and associated infrastructures into large Data Centre environments. The role is responsible for planning, organizing and managing the deployment of new telecommunications products with multiple Telco supplier partners.
As part of the UK System Project management team, contribute to the development and implementation of the local strategies in relation to a variety different projects.
Support network communication technical plans.
The job holder may be required to work flexible working hours including evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:

* As part of the UK System Project management team, contribute to the development and implementation of new third party telecommunication installations.
* Provide specialist and technical expertise to the team members for communication infrastructure.
* In conjunction with the Team Leader, undertake local supervision, such as attendance monitoring, and allocate tasks and workload to 3rd Party communication providers.
* Network capacity planning
* 3rd Party Telco supplier performance analysis and management
* High level problem investigation and troubleshooting with the ability to analyse and resolve technical issues around copper and fibre provisions on large scale international infrastructures.
* Telecommunications Technical consultancy
* Change implementation for all circuit changes following Change Management principles
* Supplier management (including technical matters)
* Operate flexibly both as a member of the team and independently.
* Act in an advisory capacity to other team members and other teams as required and be able to show initiative to solve a range of diverse projects problems and issues.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
Experience in management projects and teams.
Experience in complex telecommunication migrations.
Experience of network management and provisioning.
Experience of working with telecoms account management teams.
A team player and contributor within the busy team.
Experience in fibre and copper deployments, configuration, migration and management.
Excellent communication skills and an ability to adhere to policies and procedures are key to ensure that the team have a uniform approach to circuit provision and support.
Experience of managing multiple 3rd Party Telecommunication suppliers and projects.
Experience of structured cabling design and support.
Experience in the creation and review of detailed Risk and Method Statement documentation.
Good knowledge of risk and incident management in live production environments.
