Job Title: PHP / SQL DeveloperLocation: Heswall, WirralSalary: £22000 - £30000 Our client is an expert witness services firm supporting the Legal, Insurance & Motor Industries across the UK.The company are an innovative, modern and relaxed firm who put employee engagement and happiness at the top of their priority list.  They want their staff to come to work and enjoy their work!  The company have a great atmosphere here and there are plenty of opportunities to grow and develop with them.Job Role:Mainly being a PHP Developer you will work on delivering a number of enhancements to the company's websites, management systems working through the full project lifecycle from analysis and specification through to development, testing and release.

Work within an overall IT Support team in-houseMaintain and improve existing functionality across a number of sites in conjunction with in-house marketingPlan and implement database designWrite efficient, well-documented code while keeping security and scalability in mindWork closely with clients to ensure that a project's requirements are fully understood at all times

Key Requirements:Web Developers with some commercial experience working with HTML, CSS, PHP and Wordpress are desirable. You will have experience working with modern web development technologies and you you'll be responsible for working with the team on supporting builds, website maintenance and the development of bespoke websites & management systems.

Have at least 3 years web development experience in a commercial environmentPHP (ideally PHP5)MySQLLinuxApacheBe able to produce cross browser and device compatible, web standards complaint codeBe able to comprehensively check and test your work, including any JavaScript error debuggingHave a working knowledge and up to date with HTML / CSS and JavaScript technologiesExperience with popular frameworks & technologies, in particular jQuery and AjaxStrong MySQL Database knowledgeLinux server administration and maintenance
