Profile

We are looking for a Webmaster - Digital Operations to join our team in Nyon, Switzerland. This is a role which combines business operations with digital development so would suit someone who is already working within in a development operations or technical web/digital development role.

The Webmaster - Digital Operations will be responsible for managing all operations related to coverage of live matches on digital platforms. They will also be involved in trouble-shooting and debugging via third party technical teams so will work to resolve issues - although they will not be required to resolve the issues themselves, they should have the technical knowledge and capability to be able to do so.

The Webmaster - Digital Operations will have a good understanding of the business logic for sport in terms of seasonality and live/non-live activity and will work to deliver the most efficient operations.

Purpose

- Develop and maintain operations and maintenance procedures and documentations;

- Identify and maintain tools for managing requests, bugs, issues and maintenance tasks;

- Identify strategies and enforce plans to reduce bug rates;

- Liaise with IT teams on operational issues and requests related to infrastructure and other department services;

- Provide insights to product development teams for improvements and ways to reduce operational impact.

Requirements

Essential experience:

- Strong background in a Webmaster or Operations Manager role for a large scale website (7+ years)

- Development and maintenance experience (minimum 4 years)

- Website or mobile app development experience (minimum 1 year)

- Bachelor’s BA or BS in Computer Science or similar

- Familiar with the technical infrastructure required for live events taking place on digital platforms

- Other certificate in usability and/or design

- Proficiency in budget management, Adobe Creative Suite and Project Management

- Fluent in English and intermediate in French

Desirable experience:

- Experience working in a live sports context
