A leading provider of ICT services and solutions are seeking a Network Engineer with experience of configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches

The role:

Contribute to the technical delivery of projects that include Design, configuration and installation of technical solutions that meet client expectations

Create and maintain project related documentation, ensuring that accurate information is always available to other staff

Build and maintain technical relationships with clients to maximize opportunities within those clients

Provide technical pre-sales support to the account teams when required

Attend user groups, technical training and seminars to increase knowledge in relevant areas

Skills:

Accredited to CCNP or Equivalent

Experience in configuration and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, F5 and Riverbed hardware/software

Practical knowledge of common protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS etc

Demonstrable communication and people skills, with an ability, capacity and skill to perceive access and manage the emotions of one's self, of others, and of groups

Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, with an ability to explain complex concepts at all levels

Commercially astute and able to assist Service Delivery Management achieve agreed Service Level Agreements

Proven track record in working with groups of people and the ability to educate, enthuse, coach and mentor
