Infrastructure Project Manager
One of the UK's leading Supply Chain companies in the movement of chilled, frozen, perishable and non perishable goods are currently looking for a very proactive Infrastructure Project Manager.
As Infrastructure Project Manager you will be required to be part of the team delivering a range of IT solutions to core team and our customers.
Working within the Project Services Team, the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate skill, experience and competence in the following areas:
Project Management Systems implementation management Business & systems analysis and design KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with our operations, software partners and IT teams, captures and analyses requirements to design and deliver effective IT solutions. Takes a leading role in the definition, documentation and successful completion of IT projects ranging in size and complexity. Assists in the implementation of supply chain systems into new and existing businesses from initial design and documentation through to successful installation, training and review. Leads infrastructure and technology refresh projects throughout the organisation. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Potential candidates will have the following:
At least 3 years experience of IT Project Management and Business/Systems Analysis. Has lead significant, challenging projects in the successful delivery of IT software or hardware solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate efficiently at all stakeholder levels. Drive and enthusiasm for identifying and delivering effective solutions. The experience and understanding to work well with, and gain the trust of our operations. The ambition and potential to move into strategic programme management roles in the future. A relevant industry qualification eg ISEB Certificate in Project Management, Prince2 Practitioner, APMP etc. Experience of supply chain operations would be an advantage. Technical experience in IT infrastructure would be an advantage.
