This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leader in Background and Pre-employment screening, offering an exceptional client experience utilising the latest technological solutions.

Their software engineers develop all applications using advanced technologies and great ideas; the team's purpose is to create and develop new ways to process work and challenge existing practices to reach new frontiers in managing and developing their business. Drawing on knowledge from all areas of computing and technology they build their products to be beautiful and useable; how their people, clients and users interact with, and experience their services is mission critical to their business. Design and usability is at the heart of their technology.

Their core technologies are C#, MVC, JQuery, SQL Server, HTML5 & CSS3; windows, web, back-end and mobile. Although some experience of these is required, they are not necessarily looking for years of commercial experience but someone with a deep and genuine interest in technology and software development, someone who has worked on projects in your own time and can demonstrate your ingenuity and resourcefulness.

They are a small and fast paced team working on multiple projects, so there is a need to be versatile and flexible to jump between projects as business priorities change. They believe anything can be taught, and they want to teach, so they are seeking someone who is smart, willing to learn, and go above and beyond.

The successful Candidate will display the following competencies:

- Involved, willing and enthusiastic towards role and organisation

- Contributes willingly to developing a professional, ethical and friendly culture

- Displays a commitment to quality management and product enhancement through monitoring, coaching and personal development

- Creates and maintains open and constructive relationships with others and responds helpfully to their requests

- Demonstrates the capacity to take action independently and assume responsibility for own actions

- Acts as a positive influence on others, both internally and externally

- Demonstrates the ability to manage, accept and encourage change

- Able to plan and organize a course of action, ensuring that the resources required are available and scheduling the workload to achieve the end result

- Capacity to analyse situations methodically and calmly, diagnose problems and identify key issues, establish and evaluate a course of action and produce logical, practical and acceptable solution

- Results orientated with the desire to get things done well and set/meet challenging goals

- Displays high level, consistent care to clients' needs

- Communicates effectively and in the desired manner with colleagues, clients, candidates and all 3rd parties

- Work flexibly and cooperatively with team members throughout the organisation
