Metals Consultant, Strategy Practice, London
A leading commodities consultancy currently requires a proven base metals professional to pioneer economic research of the global mining industry.
The role of a Metals Consultant includes and is not limited to the following:
Producing high quality current insight on mining operations globally (investment, discoveries, mergers, closures etc)
* Economic valuations and reports on non ferrous metals markets
* Advanced analytics including feasibility studies, supply vs. demand forecasts, financial modelling and market appraisals
* Business strategic planning and benchmarking exercises
* Opportunity to network with prominent businesses within the sector (conferencing - seminars - client development)
* Presenting and engaging with clients on the economics drivers affecting the wider industry

The ideal candidate will hold a numerate degree and educated up to MBA or PhD a Top Tier University. A numerate Masters level degree in a related engineering discipline would be ideal (Geology, Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Processing Economics). You will have extensive operational understanding of the mining and metals sector, with over 5 years relevant industry experience.
