Senior Linux Developer - Southampton - 50,000

I am currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic senior software engineer to join a market leading client, paying up to 50,000.

This global company are offering the amazing opportunity to relocate to New Zealand!

The role:

The candidate will be responsible for designing parts of the architecture and overseeing implementation of those parts and will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from initial concepts, group consultation, design, coding, debugging and software release.

Key skills:

- 4 years+ developing for Linux OS, preferably on embedded systems.

- 4 years+ developing with C/C++ and Bash/ash shell scripting.

- Strong experience of low level (kernel) debugging.

- Familiarity/understanding of hardware.
