My client is one of the worlds leading media & information companies. They are looking for a number of talented software developers to join an agile software development team building the very latest in media rich website with lots of glossy content and user interaction. This is a Greenfield development project using the latest techniques and technologies to help build a fast robust large highly transactional web platform. Candidates need to have a good understanding of OO programming probably in Java and ideally some experience working in Groovy on Grails. Further training will be provide on Groovy so you need to be a quick learn and enthusiastic about working in this technology. Below is a list of the technologies the team currently use, you DO NOT need to know all of these just want to learn them.

*Groovy On Grails Developer

*Java/J2EE Developer with strong Spring / Hibernate and happy to cross train into Groovy on Grails.

*Agile (Scrum / Kanban) / TDD (Jasmine, QUnit / JUnit) / XP / BDD / Continuous Integration (Hudson)

*UNIX

*CMS knowledge is highly preferred.

*Background building large web platforms
