Application Security Architect - InfoSec

An application and information security engineer is sought by this leading eCommerce company to design the infosec security framework, and then implement it in accordance with their "Rugged DevOps" approach.

This eCommerce company is now retiring a 7 year old software suite, and the Application Security Architect will be setting out the security roadmap, defining and implementing the security, compliance and privacy governance as part of a totally new project to build a state-of-the-art SAAS platform from scratch.

This Application Security Architect will work with a cross-functional Agile XP Digital Service Team of 40 and will work side by side with Architects, Software Developers, QAs, DevOps and Product Owners to ensure that all software applications being written have security measures hard-boiled in at every single stage of the software development life-cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Application Security Architect - InfoSec

* Complete ownership of all of the Application Security and InfoSec for a global GREENFIELD system

* Application Architect who can deliver expert opinion on the design, development and implementation on information security controls, policy and procedure

* Who can work within an Agile methodology and educate and coach the developers on how to hard-boil security into their code from day one.

EXPERIENCE SOUGHT: Application Security Architect - InfoSec

* Solid experience in Application Security

* Good knowledge of static analysis (using whitehat or veracode)

* Experience of pen-testing/ dynamic testing

* Programming knowledge (this is NOT an Infrastructure Security role)

* Experience of using Governance as a tool

* Someone who keeps abreast of industry trends and operates with one eye on the horizon and developing security solutions that are not just fit for purpose today, but for the future as well
