Internal Specialist - Network Security - Scotland, UK

Take control of your work with leading UK Based organisation, with a fantastic reputation of investing in their workforce's growth and work-life balance. You will be the Technical Lead for new and ongoing Network Security projects working on next generation Security, Networking and Cloud based tools, as well as acting as technical authority on these projects to the rest of the UK business.

Network Security Specialist - to 65k+benefits

This is a key position on the Network Security team, providing expertise on design, build, implementation and review of networking and security projects.

You will provide Technical leadership and direction to these projects, with full control of the end to end process. You will use your technical expertise to demonstrate to stakeholders, executives and partners of the business, the requirements of these tools and the business impact of their implementation.

Essential Skills

Subject Matter Expertise of two or more of the following Network Security vendor products, and their associated technologies

* Checkpoint

* Cisco Networking

* Bluecoat

* F5

* Fortinet

Extensive experience in configuration and administration of routing and security protocols (IPSec, SSL, VPN, DNS, DHCP, SSH, QoS).

Experience of network and network security design, as well as hands on experience of project build and implementation.

Desirable Skills

Associated Certifications for one or more of the following Vendor products and tools.

* Checkpoint

* Cisco

* Fortinet

* F5

* Bluecoat

* Juniper

Excellent skills in presentation, communication and inter-professional relations.
