Role: Senior Robotics Software EngineerType: Permanent - Senior Software Engineer  Salary: 60K - 70K per annumMy London based client are a fast-growing robotics company who have created the world's first robotic kitchen. The prototype generated widespread acclaim at the international robotics show this year and the consumer version is set to launch in 2018.My client are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their rapidly expanding development team. They are looking to speak with engineers who have robotics experience.Role overviewThe Senior Robotics Software Engineer will develop high quality software within a small team. The Senior Robotics Software Engineer will act as a leader and will focus on manipulation, planning and grasping.A C++ Software Engineer with commercial Linux experience is required.The Software Engineer should ideally offer a strong technical skill sets that include some of the following skills: ROS, Gazebo, MoveIt!/OpenRAVE, familiarity with control methodologies, Python, PCL, OpenCV.Required skills:

'€¢BSc college degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Robotics or a familiar field'€¢Strong proficiency in C++'€¢Strong proficiency in developing for embedded Linux systems

Desirable

'€¢Experience with ROS, Gazebo, OpenRAVE'€¢Familiarity with control methodologies
