IT Support Administrator - Windows /Active Directory / Information Security Nottingham Area Circa £30k + Benefits My client, are looking for a strong IT Support all rounder to join a small IT team supporting their users and servers providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line hands on support. You will be supporting monitoring and managing a wide range of technical systems resolving issues, liaising with clients and 3rd parties. Planning, developing and implementing security systems, policies, and procedures. You will be providing continual improvement of systems and security as per information security best practices. Developing, managing, and supporting systems, services, networks, and infrastructure in a multi-site environment.

Key Skills: Virtualisation (VMWare)

Windows Server (2008 onwards)

Active Directory and Group Policies

Microsoft Exchange

Network Services (DHCP, DNS, LDAP, Radius, TACAS+, syslog, Wifi 802.1x, SSH/SFTP, SSL and IPSEC VPN.

Firewall management (Fortigate, Juniper)

Switching (HP Procurve, Cisco, Juniper) including VLAN's, ACL's and routing

IDS (Snort, Suricata, Snorby)

Linux (mainly Ubuntu)

MS SQL and MySQL

VEEAM Backup

Symantec Endpoint Protection

Windows Workstation OS's

Experience

Experience of working in a security focused environment, operating within ISO27001, PCI-DSS or similar business requirements would be an advantage.

Qualifications

MCSE or similar

Security+, CEH, CISSP or similar

CCNA or similar (Technical Support, Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, Information Security, MCSE, Security+, CEH, CISSP, CCNA, Networking)
