IT Risk Manager

My client is looking for an IT Risk Manager who will promote the control of all IT related risk management activities undertaken.

This will include working across the IT department to identify, assess, analyse and monitor IT related risks to ensure compliance with our risk management policies and framework.

The successful candidate will support the Cyber Security Manager in maintaining and improving IT related risk management and business continuity planning.

Skills needed;

*Good knowledge of applicable risk management practices required to create a culture of risk management compliance.

*Good understanding of infrastructure, application development, network security, end-user security and key threat protection solutions.

*Able to demonstrate pro-active approach to drive forward the risk management agenda within the IT department.

*Previous experience delivering complex IT projects.

*More than two years' experience in IT risk management and/or IT Audit related activities, ideally in the financial industry.

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language and impact.

*Ability to influence and manage challenging situations through to successful resolution.
