An exciting opportunity for a PHP Developer to come work on an online platform for a company based in Manchester has arisen. The application serves users and subscribers across the world and is being continuously developed. The platform is developed as an PHP MVC application in Laravel, using Javascript (Jquery) and HTML5 on the Front End.
They use Git, hosted on GitHub, for source control and issue logging, and Slack for team communication. Typically, they release site updates weekly. For many features, the time from prioritisation to release of tested code to production will be a matter of a few weeks (and sometimes days).
They constantly looking to deliver greater user value more quickly, by using the best of emerging new technologies.
As a PHP Developer joining the business you'll be will working with the senior developer and CTO designing and developing new features.
This is a small, friendly team you'll be joining and they will support your development through discussion, code review, pair programming and regular mentoring. They operate an annual appraisal and pay review scheme.
They are looking for a PHP Developer with 2+ years of web development experience, ideally having used technologies like PHP, MVC, Laravel, Javascript, Jquery, HTML5, MySQ, Git.
The salary for the post is £30,000 to £38,000 plus the option to work from home, and have flexible working hours as well! There's a very generous pension scheme as well which I can go into.
