Spectrum IT Recruitment is currently working on behalf of one of the UK's leading and most awarded independent creative agencies. Based in Bournemouth, Dorset, our client boasts an awesome portfolio of clients from large retail brands to independent consumer goods companies; household brand names looking for creative content and dynamic websites.

The role of Web Developer / Digital Developer is to join a creative production team in a small and efficiently run studio environment. Work includes the development of content managed ecommerce websites, mobile, online and social media games and marketing campaigns.

Knowledge, skills and attributes required:

* Front-end skills (HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript / Ajax).

* The ability to write PHP to a good standard.

* The ability to write high performance MySQL queries.

* A solid understanding of MVC principles.

* Experience writing custom JavaScript, with or without frameworks.

* Experience using code version control systems (GIT).

* Experience developing with open source PHP CMS. (WordPress, Drupal and/or Magento).

* Experience building responsive websites and applications
