A luxury retail brand are looking for an Information Security Analyst to join a new global security improvement programme. This would be initial a 6 month contract at £300 - 350 a day and would be based onsite in their Central London HQ.

Significant investment has been made by the retailer to improve their security and put it at the forefront of all decisions moving forward. Security has been relatively immature and they are now at the start of a three year long programme to change this.

As the Information Security Analyst, you would be focusing on the data loss prevention programme and you would be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of all information protection tools. There will be an education piece with stakeholders to understand the importance of information protection and data loss protection (DLP).

Reporting to the Information Security Manager, you will focused on the policy management, reporting and metrics. Part of your role will be to identify areas for improvement when it comes to business processes and data loss protection.

To be considered for the Information Security Analyst position, you are required to have the following experience and behaviours:

- Proven experience managing data loss prevention processes - ideally Microsoft, Intel, McAfee or GroundLabs

- Good understanding of cloud access security broker technology

- Able to influence senior stakeholders up to CxO level

- Strong documentation skills along with data analysis and metrics generation experience

- Good communication skills - written and verbal

- Mindful of business process impact and adaptable to change
