We are urgent looking for a Security & Network Engineer, to work for our international client. Located in Amsterdam. This is a perm position. We can arrange interviews this week or next week.

Project description

The Network Engineer reports to the team lead and works with colleagues to provide support for the Office and Broadcast environment and has no direct reports. External The Network Engineer communicates with our clients to provide them support regarding all infrastructure requests and changes.

Daily responsibilities

* Configure, manage, troubleshoot and monitor Cisco (Catalyst and Nexus) switching.

* Configure, manage, troubleshoot and monitor routing protocols i.e. BGP & OSPF

* Configure, manage, troubleshoot and monitor the Checkpoint range of firewalls and security products

* Create and maintain network designs and document secure network connectivity.

* Secures network by developing network access, monitoring and control tools, and evaluation of new products · Create and maintain documentation for network components and services

* Provide inputs to CAB in review of changes and their impact on network and security

* Create reports for SOX compliance · Perform security audits of the systems.

* Provide input on security implications of changes on the systems

* Train junior network engineers

Your profile

* Bach / Master degree

* Minimum 2 years of experience as Secrurity & Network Engineer

* In-depth knowledge of security technologies such as Firewall technologies and VPN technologies
