As the junior member of our client’s team, you will mostly be tasked with making tea and watching others work until you have made enough tea to be trusted with some basic computing tasks...

This is a hands-on development role with one of the most exciting, engaging and innovative companies out there. As a Junior PHP Developer, you can be assured that you will be challenged and pushed in order to grow your skills and become as valuable as more senior team members.

You’ll not only be operating at the cutting edge, you’ll be using the latest technologies and will gain great exposure to a range of skills that most can only dream about.

You’ll primarily be using PHP, MySQL and Memcache running on a traditional LAMP stack but there’ll also be the chance to dabble in LESS, Twitter Bootstrap and AngularJS technologies. For our client, it’s all about having the right tools for the job so technology evolution is assured and you’ll be able to join projects such as a migration of legacy PHP4 code to Laravel.

There is plenty of training on offer as well, from simply working alongside some seriously skilled programmers, through to paid for subscriptions and allocated time each week for skills improvement and new learning.

To be considered, you must have:

- Commercial experience of building PHP based web applications

- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Innovative, brave and switched on, as a Junior PHP Developer, you must be eager, willing and team oriented. Great communication and interpersonal skills and a community based approach are also key.

Knowledge of the following would be beneficial to your application: Laravel 4, MySQL, jQuery, and AngularJS.
