Do you have experience of using ArcGIS and are looking to grow your career in GIS? We have a great opportunity for you to join our supportive Products Comms team as a Junior Customer Success Consultant.

We are flexible, you can work from one of our offices in Aylesbury, Cambridge or Edinburgh several days per week, on the other days you can work from home.  We are also happy to consider full and part time applications.

As a Junior GIS Consultant / Junior Customer Success Consultant, you will:

  • Help communicate technical knowledge, both internally and externally, increasing our customers understanding of ArcGIS.
  • Work with your colleagues to continue to grow your understanding of how Esri technology, data and services can be used to solve real-world problems.
  • Support our marketing team, using your technical expertise to help communicate the benefits of using ArcGIS, via digital content, product campaigns and blogs.
  • Assist with preparing technical content for conferences, customer events and webinars.
  • Keep up to date with our product releases and competitor solutions, having a clear understanding of how our product differs.
  • Support and mentor graduates when they are in our department.

  • Already have used ArcGIS in a commercial or Academic setting.
  • Are keen to develop your knowledge of ArcGIS and capabilities, articulating how it can benefit a business and solve their problems.
  • Have a keen interest in the GIS industry, knowledgeable about the application of GIS.
  • Can think creatively, finding innovative ways to solve problems and communicate the benefits of GIS.
  • Are aware of key IT industry trends and our competitors.
  • Are a good communicator and presenter, able to build strong business relationships with your colleagues?
  • Work flexibly, enjoying the challenge of meeting deadlines.
  • Ideally educated to degree level in Geography, GIS or Computer Science, or have equivalent experience.
  • Are happy to travel within the UK, staying overnight to attend events and customer locations occasionally.
  • Essential - you are based in the UK and entitled to work full time here and are happy to undergo security clearance if successful.

  • A good basic salary starting from circa £24k+ rising with experience, plus a generous company bonus scheme paying up to 20% per annum.
