EUS Technical Design Architect

About the role:

Technical Delivery Architect will provide technical capability, governance, and vision within new and existing customers. We are a small team focused on delivering efficient End User Services (EUS) solutions to both internal and external customers. We concentrate on effort based agile delivery turning traditional manual, resource intensive processes into repeatable effective delivery.

Whilst we still need to deal with legacy services and smaller tactical pieces of work, the architecture practice is focussed on Modern Workplace development in the Azure cloud & Intune management space.

We are looking for a new, home-based, team member to join us. You will be mentored in our current ways of working as part of your role and you will be actively encouraged to contribute new ideas to further the development of the EUC architecture practice.

You will be responsible for the implementation, and delivery of end-user computing solutions that meet the needs of the business. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer facing skills with a strong EUC engineering background with experience in an operational support role or an EUC focussed infrastructure back-end supporting role. The candidate is expected to have a good multi-discipline, integration level knowledge across other technical areas such as networking and server infrastructure.

You will act as a customer facing Architect delivering projects and providing technical governance supporting the engineering teams and the Project managers to ensure a successful outcome.

Candidates will combine a broad interest across the tech space and enjoy close collaboration. You will be a quick learner and equally at ease proposing better ways of working or taking onboard existing approaches.

What you will be doing:

'€¢Lead the delivery of EUC solutions that are in line with the EUC architecture model. '€¢Lead the delivery of smaller bespoke & tactical work that does not fall into the wider EUC Solution portfolio. '€¢Provide the interface between engineering, project management and the customer to ensure the architecture model is delivered as intended. '€¢Troubleshoot technical delivery issues and ensure appropriate solutions are put in place. '€¢Ensure solutions are compliant with company policies and standards. '€¢Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in EUC and provide recommendations for future solutions. '€¢Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members. '€¢Learn from project resources to help improve future EUC architecture practice solutions. '€¢Participate in the development of EUC documentation and procedures. '€¢Collaborate with the DESIGN Architect and IT teams to gather requirements and implement solutions. '€¢Participate in the testing and deployment of EUC solutions & products.

What we are looking for:

'€¢Deep knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform, specifically Intune and Azure AD '€¢Experience with Windows, Android and iOS operating system delivery. '€¢Deep knowledge of common device build processes both legacy and modern. '€¢People management - must display excellent ability to mediate between project resources to keep the solution on track. '€¢Must be able to provide the authoritative technical leadership on a project. '€¢The ability to quickly pick-up new technologies and apply existing skills and talent towards solving new problems.
