This is an opportunity to join a successful provider of integrated circuit-based systems for mobile, defence and infrastructure applications. The Senior RF IC Design engineer is required for their site situated in Reading, UK as part of their cellular design group designing RF ICs for cellular handset applications. The products include a range of high-performance RF switches and impedance tuners. You will act as a technical lead supporting products during the entire product life cycle from product definition and design through product release and you will have a chance to contribute towards IP generation and advanced development for future products. Responsibilities include:
RF IC Design, schematic capture, IC layout, simulation, package analysis, evaluation board design, design validationProduct definition, assisting product/technical marketing in defining new productsWorking with characterisation and test engineers to define, conduct and analyse dataWorking with test engineers to define, develop and ramp production test solutionsProduct documentationIndustry degree qualified the successful Senior RF IC Design engineer will have a minimum of 5 years in RF IC Design with strong experience with Cadence design tools and a strong knowledge of RF design and measurement techniques and experience with different IC process technologies. Experience in ADS/Momentum, lab skills and familiarity with RF test equipment are all desirable.  You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently to determine methods and procedures on assignments.
