Our client is focussing on the very latest research in computing systems. As part of huge expansion plans this year, they seek a Director of Computing Architecture to manage and expand the Wireless Computing Architecture Lab in Switzerland, which is currently split between Zurich and Lausanne, and set to grow. The Director of Computing Architecture will be highly influential in the technology roadmap, and will foster long-term strategic partnerships with industrial and academic resources. He/she will be instrumental in guiding an efficient architecture for next-generation computing systems.

We are looking for a seasoned SoC Architecture expert with strong leadership experience to undertake this exceptional challenge. The right candidate will be:

• MSc or PhD-qualified in Computer Science or similar
• Highly experienced in SoC Architecture within the area of high-performance computing systems
• Knowledgeable in power and performance trade-offs, area and energy efficiency improvement, as well as hardware-software interfaces and interactions
• An experienced and talented leader
