Stockport, Manchester, with travel both nationally and internationally

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Use of Company Vehicle + Training + Flexitime + 25 days leave

Are you an Electrical or Power Engineer, with field based experience, looking for an opportunity to work with a growing company within the power engineering sector?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company who can provide product specific training with a chance to travel both nationally and internationally. Travel will be circa 1-2 weeks/month UK and 3 week/quarter internationally, mainly to the Middle East and Asia. When not travelling hybrid working is available.

Our client designs, manufactures and offers support in power engineering monitoring systems.

This role would suit an experienced Electrical Engineer from another discipline with an interest in learning about power engineering and looking to make a career in a technically challenging environment.

The role:

1. Full time, permanent position within the manufacturing sector with travel both nationally and internationally
2. Working in a small growing team
3. Installation and commissioning work at client sites
4. Analysis and delivery of test results to clients

The person:

1. Degree level qualification in an electrical or power engineering subject
2. Working experience in a field based role and/or experience of factory acceptance testing
3. Excellent written and spoken English, plus a UK Driving Licence- essential
4. Must be willing to travel extensively as part of a role and sometimes stay away from home. This will be fully expensed.
